How Genesis Was Born...
Hi, I'm Aryana!
HI FRIENDS! My name is Aryana Figueroa, and I am a senior Vocal Performance student at UNC Charlotte, graduating in Fall 2026! I’ve been singing all vocal styles for as long as I can remember. My mom's earliest evidence is of me humming in the crib, and mine is attempting Phantom of the Opera in grocery stores as a child — but I would say I officially began loving to sing around age four, the same time I began classical piano training. For nearly two decades, I’ve had the joy of training, performing, and studying this beautiful gift we have called music... but ultimately, none of my training would have amounted to anything without the mercy and grace of God.
He is the breath in my lungs and the breath in my song! That's why I want to use every gift I have for Him, and YOU -- who He loves deeply. Since 2022, I’ve been lucky enough to perform at multiple weddings, and I’m now excited to pursue wedding music more full-time alongside teaching voice. I’m also in the process of applying to graduate programs in Vocal Pedagogy and will be studying opera abroad in Germany this summer.
